Wheels of Light
Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning "wheel of light." Generally throughout religions and beliefs, there are 7 chakras in the body, but some beliefs have less named, (i.e. Tibetan Literature states 6), and there are actually two chakras outside the body called the Atman, and the Brahman. Each chakra has it's own physical, emotional, creative, and celestial components. Each chakra has a specific purpose, or viewpoint tha relates to its positioning on the body. The consciousness of the areas of chakras is also a component of chakras, called a body. If we as human beings focus on one chakra, our entire life perspective will follow suit with the characteristics of that chakra. The example used is Ramses. He was very direct and demanding, and physical, he had 144 kids. That relates to the first chakra.

Two, 2: Wheels of Power
This section was a bit of a debrief to the story told in the previous section. It broke it down, and made sense of it all. It also revealed how we have to be devoted to being engaged with chakras, and energies, and always be dilligent to our own, and the energy of those around us.
Two, 1: Legend of the Rainbow Warrior
This chapter relates seeing auras to the First Nations peoples. The story is of the Rainbow Warrior. There was a chief of the peoples who lived with the Second Chance Mesa land, who could see the rainbow beyond the rainbow; auras. The Chief had a son, who he wanted to pass on the vision to. The son went to war, and came back a hero, but he had great sorrow for what he had done, and his people apparently didn't appreciate him outside of war. So the son turned to drinking, and gave up all hope on his people, and his father. Later in life, after his father had changed, he become Christian, gave up drinking, and married a Christian woman, and they had a son. When the son was in his teens, he drifted away from Christianity, to get in touch with his roots. When it came time for his vision quest, he set out and a great eagle warned him of something bad to come. While out in the wilderness, a great storm had hit, and it lasted all night. The man, sitting in a poisition of prayer for over 72 hours sat through the storm, and after the storm, the eagle flew over once again. After those events, the man could see rainbows around the animals, and plants, and people around him. He had recieved the vision of the rainbow beyond the rainbow through his vision quest. This is the chapter, and that is a very condensed version of the story. By no means does it have all the details.

One, 2: The "Mysteries" of the Chakras
This chapter was a load to chew on. It is very short, but uses like, sciency language to describe a chakra and how it works. It reveals how chakras are related to colours, and how those colours affect an aura. Example: Someone is in a very creative moment, the fifth chakra is being exercized, which is related with blue, the aura will show mostly blue. It speaks earlier of characteristics of the chakras: shape/size, rotation/spin, colour, and intensity. She spoke of how auras are also connected with the mind, and how science has "proven" that the mind isn't only in the head. Experiments have shown that memories are often stored in connective tissue. I found that really interesting. Explains how a touch triggers a memory, or a scent. Now it gets all sciency. Rosalyn describes the activity of the chakra with relation to frequencies, kinetic and static energy, electromagnetic fields, and other things. So like, as stated in the book "a dynamic electromagnetic field consists of oscillations of a specific frequency or wavelength", so basically a dynamic electromagnetic field would be a chakra, or like the aura, contains energy that vibrates at a certain rate, that creates the colour, or sound, or vibration that one can sense. Then the book goes on to say how the law of conservation says that energy can neither be created or destroyed, so she draws the conclusion that energy can't be added or taken from chakras, but instead shifted. She uses thought as an example. A thought is static energy, the act of thinking is kinetic/dynamic, which causes the shift into a memory, which is again static. The memory becomes a part of the aura, as it is stored in your body. I dunno, that part is really difficult to recreate, but I understand it. For a conclusion of the chapter, Rosalyn speaks of how human growth and history is cyclical, and not linear. She uses examples of the age of Aquarius, a time that we are coming into as the period in which a lot of lost knowledge will make a resurgence and make itself known again, and planting the seed of thinking that we can save our world, and move into a brighter tomorrow. I love this book.

One, 1: The Ancient and Modern Mystery
This chapter was all on a bit of Rosalyn L. Bruyere's past with energy, and auras and how she came into the whole aspect of life that is energy. It talks about her bridging her abilities with science, and bringing new amazing information. It speaks of her experience with what Auras are, and how they relate to Chakras, and the like. Rosalyn also states how many different nations and peoples put emphasis on different Chakras. She reveals her connections with the Auras she's seen of people in different nations and how different coloured Auras are generally domininant in a nation, and relates how those energies play on the nation's focus. North Americans, to her, have generally a yellow dominant Chakra for thinking. We think. She spoke of First Nations, and how they put emphasis on each Chakra, and not specifically one Chakra. She said as a counter-example, how the Islamic bow, and put their forehead (third eye) onto a design on a mat they are on, emphasizing that Chakra. In conclusion, essentially, Auras are the body's energy and existence radiating to the physical world by generally means of colour, or sensing the energy. Chakras are the 7 main energy centres of the body, that generate the Auras we can see, feel, sense, what have you. Next part will be the second part of this chapter: The "Mysteries" Of The Chakras.
What I'm Doing With This.
This blog is going to be one of like, 5 of just me condensing what I've read, and putting it down to try to help myself remember, and learn from what I've been reading.
This one is for a book called "Wheels of Light", and it's all about Chakras, Auras, and the like. There's another short one - "Chakras - Rays and Radionics", and then "Sohpie's World", which is a book on Philosophy. I've read it once before, but there is so much information, and such a story that I need to read it again, and write down what all the philosophies are, and who are the people are, and what they did and stuff. Should be a good way to keep myself busy!
